میکسیکو کے صدر اینڈرس مانوئیل لوپز اوبراڈر نے میکسیکو میں انسانی حقوق کے مسائل کے حوالے سے امریکی حکام کو تنقید کا نشانہ بناتے ہوئے کہا ہے کہ امریکی حکام جھوٹ بول رہے ہیں اور یہ ان کی فطرت میں شامل ہے۔
پریس کانفرنس سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے انہوں نے کہا کہ امریکی رپورٹ کے دعوے غیرحقیقی ہیں۔ امریکہ خود کو دنیا کا بادشاہ سمجھتا ہے اور اپنی اصلاح کا خواہش مند نہیں ہے۔
غیرملکی خبر رساں ادارے روئٹرز کی رپورٹ کے مطابق اپنے خطاب میں صدر اوبراڈر نے امریکی وزارت خارجہ کی انسانی حقوق سے متعلق سالانہ رپورٹ کی مذمت کی اور کہا کہ رپورٹ میں میکسیکو میں انسانی حقوق کے مسائل کا ذکر اور اس معاملے میں وارننگ حقیقت کی عکاسی نہیں کرتی۔
پریس کانفرنس سے خطاب میں انہوں نے کہا کہ امریکی حکام دروغ گوئی کر رہے ہیں۔ میکسیکو میں پولیس اور فوج کی غیرقانونی اور من مانی قتل کی وارداتوں، سرکاری حکام پر تشدد اور جبری اغوا کے واقعات میں ملّوث ہونے سے متعلق دعوے حقیقت پر مبنی نہیں ہیں۔
صدر اوبراڈر نے کہا کہ معذرت کے ساتھ لیکن یہ رپورٹ صرف سیاست پرمبنی ہے اور یہ ان کی فطرت میں شامل ہے، امریکہ خود کو دنیا کا بادشاہ سمجھتا ہے اور اپنی اصلاح کا خواہش مند نہیں ہے۔
امریکہ وزارت خارجہ کے نائب ترجمان ویدانت پاٹل نے صدر اوبراڈر کے بیان کے جواب میں کہا ہے کہ ہم نے کبھی نہیں کہا کہ ہم دنیا کے بادشاہ ہیں۔
